Why I Love to Wear Head Scarves?

Head ScarfTo say I love head scarves is an understatement. Long before they became a fashion trend, I have already been a fan. I see people wear scarves the common way, wrapped around necks or casually placed on shoulders.  Because I am a scarf addict, I love wearing scarves in many different ways but let me share with you the reasons why I love wearing head scarves.

  • I enjoy the way head scarves create and add a cool, funky air to my otherwise boring outfit. I don’t have to be a conservative religious follower to wear one because when I don’t have the right jewelries to match a certain outfit, the head scarf can more than make up for it.
  • When I feel like being a little nostalgic and want to sport a 60s look, I can tie my hair in a neat bun then wrap my head in a large head scarf folded into a triangle and voila! I am the modern Audrey Hepburn with my hair completely covered save for a few loose tendrils to soften the look.
  • I love the outdoors but when the weather is too windy for my hair, a large head scarf quickly solves the problem for me. I stay fashionable too however gloomy the weather might be. With a pair of hoop earrings to match, I can go read your signs and be a gypsy.
  • The most important reason why I love wearing head scarves is that they are inexpensive. I can complete my look without having to spend a fortune on other fashion accessories. With the right color, pattern and design, head scarves can complete my ensemble minus the cost.

Having said my reasons, I hope you too will be inspired to try head scarves and who knows? You might even be able to come up with other styles of wearing head scarves and create a trend of your own.
